I have about 10 students from our school in NY who are in need of furnished rooms/apartments with kitchens for about 3-4 months from May to July. They are participating in an internship and would like to be located within 15 minutes of downtown Miami. I am not sure if their budget of $800 per month per person is realistic. I was hoping to find a landlord who has one property/building with several furnished apartments. Any suggestions?

First and foremost, where is their internship? Why do they want to be Downtown?

There are corporate rentals in Midtown, and Brickell. If you're getting a block of apartments (most are actually condos, but there are some blocks of units that either the developer still owns, or the building has a rental program) you may be able to negotiate a better rate, but even still, if you're talking $800 per person per month, that's only putting them (2 people) in a 1 bedroom, 1 bath. It could very well be more since it's a short term rental, but you do at least have the fact that it's not season working for you.

You may wish to start looking at either the Club at Brickell Bay (not the Brickell Bay Club- two different buildings,) as well as Opera Tower.

If you have the backing of the school, that would be a major plus, but I'm sure that's easier said than done.
