Broward County like everyone has mentioned is the OP best choice. But even in Broward he's going to have a hard time finding someone to rent to someone with two big pits. You'll have better luck if you only had one pit.

Try realtor.com, using the RENTAL tab on the site. Have you tried rent.com?

I don't know what's up with this pitbull ban but I see them all the time being walked in SouthBeach. So, like many other things in Miami, rules don't necessarily get applied or enforced.
The main challenge one will have with pitbulls may not be about the breed itself but rather finding a place that will rent to you with two dogs.
That said, your price point might be impossible DT or in Brickell for 2 bedrooms or in any of the most desirable areas nearby. Keep in mind that FL doesn't have income tax and the majority of revenue is collected on real estate. For rentals, this means that landlords pass along those taxes to their renters. Keep yourself open to that reality when searching; it will provide some perspective.

hey all, thanks for all the continued feedback.
getting close to the move in date with less then 8 weeks away for a place to be found.

so I've been searching around and found a listing that sounded to good to be true.
is there some sort of agency that can validate a listing is legit and not some sort of a scam?

As for the pitbulls in south beach i too saw a good amount when I vacationed through the area a few months ago.
I'll consider paying more in mind with the lack of income tax fees up.

thanks again,
Nick
