All of these are some of the most desirable locations in SoFlo. Which one is your favorite and why? Which one is your least favorite? Why?

Just curious for future reference

Thank you

1. Palm Beach, it is the most exclusive, every location is walking distance to the beach, and homes start at over a million dollars.

2. Boca Raton, it is in a good area and everything is upper class. A lot of green space and high end shops.

3. Coral Gables, it is one of the nicer areas of Miami but it has some areas that are not as high class and surrounded by lower end neighborhoods to the east and north of it. Homes start at around $300,000 but the average is $600,000 and can go up to the tens of millions for a high end waterfront house in the best area.

Coral Gables seems to be more high-end than Boca Raton...

2010-2013 median family income:

Boca Raton - $90,740
Coral Gables - $123,006

CG also feels more vibrant with its lush neighborhoods and Mediterranean homes. The only downside is that CG is in Miami-Dade county.

The reason why the income is higher in Coral Gables than in Boca Raton might be because Boca has a lot of retirees. Statistics can sometimes be misleading even if they are accurate.

Don't get me wrong, Coral Gables is very nice but like you say being in Miami-Dade County is a minus and might be the contributing factor to their higher crime. Something that might not show up in the statistics because they don't report everything that goes on in the City Beautiful.
