I use to live in North Miami in the 80’s and two years ago I went back and everything changed, I mean everything. North Miami Senior high school was knocked down and Cagni Park also was taken down. Can anybody give me information about what happen there and where did all the Latino’s in that area go? I thought I was in Haiti (Not Little Haiti) but Haiti when I drove through there at 12 midnight about 2 years ago. I knew lots of people and had good friends in that area and I was just wondering where everybody went.

P.S. How about DJ Felix Sama?

Thank you for any information you can provide me.

- Julito

North Miami changed a lot from the 80's I use to drive when I was 16 up and down Biscayne because it was such a nice drive....now no so much.

Miami has changed quite a bit since the 80's like doral area where the cows roamed passed 25 street and kids did drag racing there.

It is getting to the point where I relish being at a landmark because I fear we will lose them all.

Sorry that you had the " you could never come home" moment. I see it every day and I love Miami.

North Miami really is like Haiti.
I'm not sayng that's a bad thing, but it's not what it used to be. The energy and vibe is different now.

Miami is one of those cities that is always changing tho, sometimes for the good, sometimes not so much, but one thing is certain, it will continue to change.... It'll be interesting to see.

Were there Haitians in North Miami in the 80’s? Yes. Where there plenty of Haitiansin NM in the 80’s, hell no! So that’s why I was asking where everything went. I could remember Mario’s Pizza on 125st & West Dixie highway had the best little Garlic Rolls in the world and Cagni Park and North Miami Sr. High are all gone now. Where did all the Puerto Ricans in North Miami/Miami move to after the 90's because back in the day it was 32nd St, Roberto Clemente Park,Wynn Wood block.

Thanks for the info.
