And what reason is Baltimore brought into this subject? It has nothing to do with supporting your prejudice fence theory.

Why bother comparing at all? Every place has it's own attributes.

Holy hell. I thought you were somewhat kidding around. They do pave over the grass and do paint the slabs pink or orange.

My great grandmother who just died recently lived in South Florida and her neighborhood might be considered a poor neighborhood but it's very well kept as lot of homes are owned by original owners who are elderly and African American and some are even Haitian or Jamaican immigrants.

That is Broward though. There is a similar neighborhood in West Palm Beach in Palm Beach Lakes. Richmond Heights in Miami isn't bad, and Opa Locka has some nicer areas than Hialeah. Long time church going Blacks have family values and often create nice little pockets of paradise near ghettoes. If you go through Hialeah you pass through barren streets, cross the RR tracks and hit the African area and find more oak trees and lawns.

Well it could also be the Hialeah needs to enforce stricter rules regarding upkeep. So maybe you should give the city a call or email regarding your frustrations to see what happens.

There's no law against not planting trees of having a nice lawn in Hialeah. You cannot legislate taste and even in Hialeah there are some gorgeous homes, they are mostly around Okeechobee because the townhomes and apartments to the north were never attractive even when new.

There are plenty of trees being planted in Hialeah along with new sidewalks and streets, so there are many improvements being made in a blue-collar middle- class neighborhood
