I was surfing the net and bumped with this article. Edgar Cayce, a famous recognized psychic said there will be found occult mystery powers in this island.

"The focus of A.R.E. efforts has been in the Bimini area, however, other related locations have also been investigated. Research on the so-called Bimini Road has been hampered as researchers are split on the origin of the structure: some believe it is a manmade road or foundation while others assert it is natural beach rock, which fractured in place. However, a seldom-discussed fact is that a portion of the Bimini Road was removed after a hurricane in 1926."

Insteresting. The lost Atlantis.

As fishermen and women of my family, we go back and forth to Bimini at least two times a month when weather is good. Right about now the weather is not favorable until about late April.

The fishing in Miami has been so bad that the only good fish we get is around this area. Sister's boyfriend owns two condos in the area so we frequently park there for overnight, but if we happen to be in a bar one night might bring up your theory and see what the locals say.

Sadly I fear that Bimini that use to be a Florida local getaway is turning to a tourist town...where it was always a fisherman town that welcomed the Miami true fishermen and in some cases me ( I refused to go out in anything more then 8 foot seas)
