'Malls' in Miami are Aventura (Closest to you), Brickell CityCentre ( HDolphin, Sawgrass ( Broward, has outlets as well), Dadeland (South Miami) and then the outdoor malls like Lincoln Road which has a lot of chain stores now like Gap, Apple, H&M, etc. and Pines Outdoor mall.

Dadeland Mall is further down south. I think Dolphin Mall or even Merrick Park and Sunset Place are closer to North Miami Beach.
And don't forget the Design District in Midtown and Collins Ave. South Beach.
South Florida metro is really a shopping mecca. <3

I put Dolphin as the 3rd closest. Design District is def not a mall.

Forgot Bal Harbour Shops as well but its mainly extremely high-end

Yeah, Dolphin Mall isn't all that great these days. It used to be great a few years back. I wonder if the IKEA has anything to do with it?

Dadeland is a good mall but I don't see the point of going there if you live close to Aventura Mall, it has all the same stores and more.

I stopped shopping long time ago on malls since I realized they buy everything cheaper from other places. That's why I shop online http://www.usaholidaystore.com

They're planning on building the country's largest mall here, in "Miami Lakes" but basically next to Hialeah Gardens off 75.

I'm wondering if the OP found what she needs?

After traveling around to visit friends around the country I am seeing more and more abandoned malls. It is baffling how Miami can be thinking of adding another mall to an already saturated market. Dead malls seem to be the future.

Miami is a much different market. Very high levels of international tourism, and these people flock to the malls. Some of the older dumpy malls will go out of business but the newer ones will continue to thrive.
