I don't think they will pick Miami because it's too far south and not central enough to be a good place for a major hub for them. Plus if they do that means home prices will increase, that's good for homeowners, but then taxes will go up and rents will also go up. Bezos stepfather that raised him was Cuban so who knows.

They're not looking to locate a shipping hub... there are a ton of those, including one in Opa Locka... this is for executive type staff. And totally agree, if they relocate here, rents and housing prices will JUMP up

But would be excellent overall for the industry. More healthcare jobs/locations, more culture, etc.

Yes and all of Dade county and probably Broward county too since it's only 30 miles away. The only good thing would be that it can make things expensive and drive away the bad areas, but it's only one company it won't be like Seattle where it's a hub for many companies.

Everything including housing healthcare etc would jump up but the big question is will wages go up?
