For rentals, it used to be not automatic..back in 2011-2013. Brokerages had to then auto opt-in.

Now, all listings sync to zillow since they are charging a fortune to Premier agents (and cutting out listing agents!)

One of the reasons Zillow was woefully unreliable was the lack of the MLS feed.

Is still not fully realiable, my property didnt get posted on zillow after a few days from the posting of the MLS.

I still have to manually upload it to the other major RE websites
