"Let's see, ocean, people, restaurants, culture, weather Summer & Winter (I'll give you Spring and Fall)"

Why in the hell would a summer in Miami be better than a summer in CLT? It cant get much more oppressive than Miami in the summer!

"Miami where I couldn't communicate. Not a bad price to pay for living in paradise."

I am glad you like Miami and all of it's diversity and close proximity to Central America! Hopefully more and more folks will think like you I know Charlotte folks would appreciate it!

Yeah it could. It could be in the high 90s with high humidity, stagnant air and hovering pollution warnings. Kind of like Charlotte in the summer...

Oh, and even if the people around you smile at you while you are getting mugged and the strip mall you are getting mugged at looks new and clean, a robbery is still a robbery. Comparing crime in Miami-Dade to Charlotte is kind of like comparing gonorrhea to the clap.

Did you google the weather there or have you spent time there in the summer? The average high in July is 90. In Aug., it is 88 for a high temperature. The humidity there doesnt compare to Miami's.

Oh, the weather looks great on google. I'm talking about actually being there. This was also the only place I ever had my locked car broken into with absolutely nothing in plain sight.

To say that the summer weather feels more oppressive in CLT than Miami is laughable. You know it, and I know it.

I brought it up. I told the OP that being a "wall st kid" he should look into CLT or ATL and forget about Miami. Miami isnt a good place for banking/trading-type jobs. But I havent seen the OP even post again.

So... back to LA vs Miami RE prices....................

This is true unless you are talking about international banking (especially Latin America).

Yeah, it does compare.

I can’t believe I’m encouraging you, but here it goes again.

FACT: Looks like Charlotte has a lower AVG temp (lower AVG nighttime temps, about same AVG daytime temps) slightly higher morning humidity, slightly lower afternoon humidity, slower AVG wind speeds.
If Charlotte is like Atlanta was, you’d have HORRIBLE, still, grey, VERY HOT days punctuated by much nicer ones a few days a week.
Miami is a pretty steady, VERY hot, partly cloudy, chance of rain, some ok wind movement. (It goes on too long of course).

And smog; Miami has very little; Charlotte is not in the top 10, but it can be pretty bad.
Mecklenburg -- Grade F

Miami-dade -- Grade B

Unless Charlotte is DRASTICALLY different than Atlanta (the facts don’t show any real difference), neither one of them is great in the summer, but I’ll stick with Miami in July and August -- IN MY OPINION.
