So at this point, do we still need to put up the shutters? (in Miami)

We have half of them up already from Gustave, or maybe it was Fay. That's about 10 windows done. Only have another 11 to go.

Lightbulb Open Shelters Miami-Dade

In case someone is looking for a shelter in the Miami-Dade area. If you know of other areas that have shelters available, please post might help families evacuating the Keys.

Thank you,

Miami has to be the luckiest place, it seems like all early cones have a direct hit here and then as the days go on we get saved! Not complaining.

I can't believe we dodged another bullet. We are so lucky! You'd think the way we're sticking out into the ocean like a sore thumb we'd get hit with all of them, but those steering currents are really protecting us. ::knocking on wood:: Amazing. But apparently what's good for us is bad for Haiti, Cuba, New Orleans & the gulf states. Keep them in your thoughts & prayers, everyone.
