Thats AMERICA!

People drive everywhere here, even 3 blocks down to road to one of the 1,000 Publix supermarkets here....it's worse than Los Angeles even, in that respect.
Nope, its all the same.

I use to go into Wal-Mart or K-Mart or someplace and it was hard to find a medium or small in clothing. Now that's all that's left on the rack.

Oh wait, I believe it!
Wow, you found a picture of a fat guy, it must be true! lol

If you read the article, they based it on things like gym membership and % of people who DON'T go, amount of eating out (Miami always near top) more than actual weight.
If you've EVER been to Michigan, Ohio, Illinois etc there is NO WAY the average Miamian is fatter than the average mid-westerner from there.
On average? NO WAY! Silliness.

That being said, I agree with most of you that Miami could use better walking options as well as healthier and more affordable eating options. But we're not the only ones. We were on vacation in N Ariz and New Mex a few weeks ago; the only place we could find to get good, healthy room food in Santa Fe (to not go out so much) was ... Whole Foods!
Different place, VERY different vibe, same problem.
