Hello,
I'm moving from Chicagoland to Miami this summer to attend law school at Florida International. Can anyone tell me where the "gay areas" are? All I can gather is that South Beach might be an okay option. I'm looking for a young, vibrant, gay-friendly area. Any input would be much appreciated

broward county (ft lauderale etc) i heard is super gay...check out outinmiami.com or gogaymiami.com...miami itself is pretty gay, you wont find a problem finding "us", I don't live there though so I can't really say neighborhoods or clubs or whatever. good luck

Well, from county line rd. in the North to Florida City in the South and from Krome Ave. in the West to Collins Ave. is pretty gay friendly. Wouldn't venture to much past Collins going East: not safe!

I would say that most of Miami is gay friendly. I dont think you'll have any problems.

I noticed that Collins Avenue is almost on the ocean. Do you mean that housing near the ocean isn't safe? I was looking at apartments in this area.

Well nobody picked on it. This was a joke, East of Collins is the Atlantic Ocean and the four corners I gave you were the boundaries of the county. Seemed funny to me when I wrote it.
