It was definitely take in the winter time! A summer shot would have been better. But those mountains are awesome to look at out your back door, rather than the back of another zero lot line house that is shaped like a box, lol.

Not really, but I'd rather be in Miami than in those sinister houses. Boris Karloff would have love that place.

This house here, in La Vibora, is inhabited by the original owners (some, since most are in "North Havana").
The family up north helps to keep the house in relatively good conditions.
The area is "iffy" now, many cubaton lovers.
Of course, the appearance is somewhat jaded.
It looks haunted. They couldnt have stucco'ed over the block?

And it's in an "iffy" area, huh?

I know people that went to Baldor. I remember their hideous Algebra Book my father had... He always tried to instill me some math using that book to no avail.
Baldor is now the Spanish School. Expensive place.
As to St. George, I don't know. I know where Reston is, but not St. George.

Yes, Miami definitely should teach Western NC developers what real beauty is!

I remember that in the Blue Mountains they had very beautiful towns, but those were towns. I bet that in the cities there you have exactly the same developments.

Hee! I love Miami but those houses you linked in NC are gorgeous and such a nice change for all the Miami spanish tile ugly orange nightmares. I see pics of some properties in the Gables in the high $ 500's and higher that I wouldn't give you a hundred dollars for. Shoot, even Palmetto Bay where I grew up in starting to turn orange. When will it end lol??? No more orange!!

I think sometimes it is just a matter of liking a change, I prefer the houses in Hialeigh to the houses back in Michigan, I personally think it looks interesting there.

Yeah, I heard they have rude neighbors there and somebody bumped their cart into somebody at the grocery store.
