I'm moving down to Fl and would like to live in Boca Raton, but know the commute might be an issue since I will be working in Miami Shores. Does anyone happen to know the commute times between Miami Shores/Barry University and Boca Raton?

Oh my God, that's a long commute. You are talking about driving through 3 different counties. At least 50-60 without traffic. With traffic probably 90 minutes-2 hours.

Id say Hour and a half with traffic. If you beat rush hour you are there in an hour tho.

It also depends on what part of Boca Raton you live in. Are you gonna be in East Boca? West Boca? Cause if you live west of the Turnpike it'll take you another 15 minutes than it would from East Boca.

I'd be east of the turnpike. What do you think?

Why Boca if you work all the way down there? Of course if it's personal that's none of our business but if there are any other reasons, share them and we can help find something closer!

^^

This!

That will be the commute from hell. You will end up hating S. Florida doing that sort of commute. Miami has some amazing places EAST of 95 to live. I would look into those before moving to Boca Raton.

Default go live in Miami Shores

Pleaase go to live in Miami Shores and pick a house if possible east of Biscayne Bay. It's really beatiful, and will be even more quiet than Boca!but if you get tired of quite your 10' minutes from Miami Beach and ! I live in Boca and work close to home but already bought a house in Miami Shores to move there at our first opportunity. I would not do that conmute everyday!
