Ive started watching this show about how animals are treated in Miami...no suprise that there are people who mistreat animals, happens everywhere - but what is suprising is the strange Miami twist it has there. The last episode showed the officers chasing someone who was killing horses with chainsaws for meat and leaving their dead carcasses on the side of the ride in West Miami, and they said "In some cultures horse meat is a delicacy, and this meat could fetch up to $3000". I dont know who they were referring to you, but having lived in cuba it aint a delicacy there - beef is, horse aint.
Apparently the meat ends up on road-side stalls in hamburgers and kebabs throughout Miami - how sick!

They caught one teenager this week who confessed to killing one of the 20 or so horse, and the police are trying to see if he is linked to other horse killings in the area too.

I always thought that horse meat what cheap meat for dog food. The thing that makes me laugh is how run-down and third world looking rural south Florida is. Considering that those properties sold for millions of dollars you would think they would have the latest high-tech horse stalls. Even the poor area a friend of mine lives in Alabama looks 100 times better than the dumps west of the urban areas here.

This is exactly why I do not watch that show. I would figure out these peoples addresses and not play nice..Anyone who mistreats an animal should immediately be dealt with..
