Yet another Miami climate poll....for this one the question is would you IMPORT Honolulu's Climate to Miami or NOT???

Let's leave aside cost of living or island fever debates. This is purely a question of CLIMATE.

I hope only CURRENT and FORMER Miami/Dade residents will respond.....if you've never LIVED in Miami let's let the locals debate this one.

I can't vote for this one as Honolulu's summers don't appear to be as brutal as Miami, but I prefer the slightly cooler months in the winter in Miami. So I would be leaning to Honolulu overall and Honolulu for sure if they got a bit cooler in the winter.

Even Floridians need a break from the heat. Maybe if we could have Hawaii's summer.

Other than Miami's thunderstorms, I think Miami's climate isn't as good as Honolulu's.

I would stick to Miami simply because I consider our mean season to be our "winter" meaning we basically stay indoors for the real period of four to five months. The rest of the year it is pleasant at night from say November to the end of May.

I also love the drama of our thunderstorms, the way you can smell the rain in the air right before a storm and to dark sky's and the the lighting show.

At lease we have a little bit of change during the winter months dec thru feb and some times get really cool weather.

Honolulu's weather is much better than Miami's weather. For half the year, it rains practically every single day. The flooding is a hassle as well.

The humidity is dreadful. I hate that every time I get in my car, I feel a bunch of steam in my face. The humidity turns my car into an oven on wheels.

There is better, definitely. But it isn't that much different. I'd personally prefer some more moderate weather with lower temperatures (that would something similar to North Carolina, or South Carolina, etc.)

Honolulu stays mostly the same all year around, lots of tradewinds.
