Damn, dude. You work in Miami Beach and live in Homestead? What a commute.

Yeah, crime is pretty bad down here. It's sad.

Guys ... I do not want to rain on anyone's parade .... especially since I do not much care for Miami either ... unless it is the Brickell or Coral Gables areas but I just got back from ten days in New England ( Boston & Providence ) and the headlines there are just as scary ... Providence and surrounding areas like Warwick were especially nasty , I thought I was in Carol City or Hialeah but with a New England "flair " !!!

Our great country is going thru an unprecedented decay in civility and morality that is affecting every region ... all I heard everyone talk about in Boston and Providence was rising crime , gang violence , cost of living , illegal immigration and the MTV culture ... every once in awhile the topic would change to their beloved Red Sox ... but for the most part you heard what you hear every day in South Florida .. same gripes !!!

The only major difference other than the weather is that you hear much less Spanish and you do not have the arrogance displayed by some hispanics , but man corruption , bad drivers , bad roads , ghetto culture especially in Rhode Island ... I felt right at home !!!
