I'm planning my wedding for about 80-90 guests and I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions on a reception site. We really want to avoid your traditional banquet hall- they bother me. I really like the out of the ordinary reception sites, for example, my cousin had his reception at the Venetian Pool- I thought that was beautiful! I've looked into chartering a boat or renting a large vacation house, but living in Jacksonville makes it rather difficult. Rather than miss place both of our families up North in the Fall, we thought keeping it at home was best.

I guess I'm really just looking for ideas???

Thanks for your help

Not sure what your budget is but here are some ideas. Little Viscaya, Viscaya, The Monestary, a beach wedding, Fairchild Tropical Gardens, The Biltmore Hotel, The Deering Estate, Kampong. Chica Lodge in the Keys is always beautiful. Little Palm Island in the Keys is always special. Grove Isle in Coconut Grove.

The womans center, someone I worked with I think got married there. I really don't now anything about the place, the area its in is beautiful. The inside looks really pretty.
