Hi,
THis is a long shot, but can't hurt to try. I'm doing my family history and find that my great aunt and uncle lived in Michigan Beach. They were Frank and Belle Reamer. He died in 1930 or so and she in 1942. They had a place on the lake called Reamer's Landing. Once when he was on the lake fishing a big squall came up and his motor died. He was about 4 miles and 3 hours out before the Coast Guard came and got him. It was in the Benton Harbor papers when it happened and again 20 years later in a "Do you Remember?" column. He was originally from St Paul MN. Does anyone recall this Reamer's Landing name? Have grandparents that talked about this couple? Any help would be appreciated.
