We were supposed to get lake effect snow last night but only got a tad....and lots of sunshine! Maybe we'll get some tonight, but we're not supposed to get much...and that's ok with me!

Seven degrees, light snow and about 3 inches on the ground in Mount Morris, Genesee county. About a hundred hungry birds at my birdfeeder right outside the window!

I can do snowy. I can do cold. But I can do them much better when the sun shines brightly!

Woke up planning on taking the dogs for a run in one of the county parks...but between the cold and the fact I can barely see across the street with the snow falling right now...naaahhh. Not unless we get some sunshine later today! From the looks of my front porch it looks like we've gotten about an inch since 7 am. It's purty.

The snowless winter continues here in mid-Mi. About 3" on the ground, maybe 6" total for the season. I remember they said this was gonna be the snowiest winter in a long time, but even the southern states are putting a whooping on us..lol Long range forcast is for tons of rain next weekend, then cold again. Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

About 12" of new stuff last night on top of 6 or 8 that were already there. Looks beautiful this morning with the clear cloudless blue sky and sun.

Up here along the Superior lakeshore we've had about 4 - 5 inches of fresh snowfall. Add that to the 4 - 5 inches that remained on the ground.
A rather odd winter this year. Especially since I have the Weather Channel on as I type and I'm watching footage of all these southern states who have more snow then we do.
