Just wondering if anyone knows of or is in a Mommy and Me group of some sort in the Marquette area? Also, is there a local pool or some place that children can take swimming lessions (Not the YMCA)?

The YMCA in Marquette is the only place in the area I know that offers both of those. I'm curious why you don't like it? Everyone I know really likes it <shrugs>

No reason really, it's kinda silly. It's just the YMCA where we currently live is CRAZY BUSY! It really stresses me out because its so busy and loud. I was just thinking I'd try some other place first... is the Y there really busy and loud?

My only other experience with a YMCA is the one down on the north end of Grand Rapids, MI and this one is NOTHING like that one. Not at all.
I suspect you'll probably like this one here.
Also check out the Children's Museum in Marquette. I think they have a regularly scheduled group gathering to for young tots?
