It rarely snows before Thanksgiving. Late september early October are usually in the 60's so this is just a bit above normal and makes up for the crappy wet summer weekends we had. Enjoy this while you can.

Up here we usually get one small temporary snow before Halloween.

Indeed, enjoy this while it lasts. I say it's making up for the previous 2 weeks which were not much but cold/rain/wind.

Every year we get a lot of nice weather during the fall. And every year, people are surprised by it. We had a stretch of weather almost exactly like this last year. I think some people have this notion that the nice weather ends after Labor Day. It doesn't. Of course, we CAN get rough weather at this time of year, but it doesn't last the entire season. Just here and there.

I love the sun...hate the heat. This time of year 80 degrees feels like 90
I need the upper 60's to low 70's

You'll get your snow soon enough. It is supposed to be a colder than normal, and snowier than normal winter. And it is supposed to arrive early. They are saying mid-November although it is hard to believe right now. But February is supposed to be milder than normal though.

Seems like the first snow usually happens anywhere from late October-mid November. It is usually a very temporary light snow. By thanksgiving its very typical to be shoveling snow now and then. Im ready for it to cool off, I hate this 80 weather in October. Perfect October weather for me would be high of 45-50. Its supposed to be FALL, sick of this summer weather. I dont want to turn on the AC again.
