Euchre all the way, we had unofficial mini tournaments in high school. UNO if a large group.

Euchre is pretty much the ONLY card game I like!

We played it in high school, too. Lunch time tournaments. But I never knew what hardcore euchre players were like until I played in a fund raiser tournament in the local town. The 50-60 year olds were serious about euchre! I could barely keep up with the pace.

Cribbage. Far superior to euchre in my opinion. It also may be a Michigan/Wisconsin/Minnesota thing.

Favs. with me are 5 crowns & Liverpool rummy. I agree euchre is for sure the game in Michigan. I played euchre in school during lunch time, euchre is not my fav. game, but it is DH fav. game, when visiting his in-laws, he will play nothing else but. My Senior parents still play the game & go to tournaments.
