Hello my name is Ryan i recently totaled my 2001 mercury cougar with less than 80000 mi, because some girl lost control and got t-boned on the highway. With the luck i got, i got the short end of the stick, and i am now looking for yet another car.

Anyways, i am college student and I am going to need a car for my job this summer which is only a half hr drive mostly highway. So, i need a car with good gas mileage, reliable, 2005ish, looks good ( like coupes a lot ) with somewhere around 100,000 miles. Price range is something below 6000. I want something that looks good but not a car with RWD just don't want that in the winter. Been looking at cars, G5, G6, Grand Prix, Grand am, Cobalt, Accord, Tiburon, Focus, Civic, Scions. I just don't know much about cars, and I need some guidance.

How about a Volkswagen? Not the BUG bit a Golf or similar? Might get more responses if you ask mod to move this to the automotive forum?
