I agree, for the time being michigan will continue unfortunaltly to be a hard state to live a fair life in. I was born and raised here and now close to being 30 years old I am now leaving becuase there are no jobs, and the housing market is supposed to be dropping in price, however there are a lot of people still holding on to the high prices of thier homes due to the fact that they too are loosing everything! I know too many to count on my hands. Right now my husband and I are all the way in phoenix AZ for job interviews, and also Raleigh NC. We have no choice but to pick up and leave like many are already trying to do. Im just blessed that we are not held down with kids and a house! But if your are really condisering moving back to michigan Ann Arbor seems to be one of the very FEW cities that is still holding strong, minus the Pfizer shutdown. GOOGLE just came to ANn Arbor, and the city seems to be holding thier home vaules oddly enough? We lived in Brighton and Northville MI. NOrthville is now a snobby rich town, and Brighton by far is the most charming FRIENDLY down to earth town on the Eastern side of Michigan. The towns people know each other, and the schools are wonderful.

GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND!!

Knocturnal is dead on right. Kalamazoo is the best place to raise your kids. KPS is very good. I myself love Grand Rapids area, but K-zoo has the most potenial for job growth. Fun place too. Dont pick Jackson, it's a S**thole, I know b/c thats where I'm stuck.

Default There's only one choice.

East Lansing. That's where you want to be.
