Really, this is March 20th? It sure doesn't seem like it with 84 degrees and having to seriously think about getting the lawnmower out and ready to go already. This is from just south of Scottville where I noticed that most of the weeping willow trees were green already. This one happened to be at a corner I had to stop at anyway, so I hopped out of the truck and took a snapshot.

I was just admiring all the flourescent willows on my drive to South Haven yesterday as well. The forsythia's are brilliant everywhere, daffodils have been up for a week, and magnolias are already opening.

My maple and peach tree believe it or not are already fully budding (and leaves popping out on my raspberries everywhere). I checked my photos last year and we are a FULL month ahead at our house for all those.

But I'm not complaining, it feels great to have the windows open and sun shining in. Just a little weird when I have the urge to go swimming and realize it's March!
