I loved walking near the medical mile to see all the development. It's amazing what building construction will do to civic pride. I just moved to Kalamazoo this week, but I'll have great memories of living in GR.

GR Rocks!!

Me too. Walking amidst all those tower cranes and steel makes my heart race.

I don't know if this post belongs here but we went to Lake Michigan on Sunday. My kids loved it. They even swam in the water although it was cold. They played on the beach and everything. They have never been to a beach or such a large body of water. The best thing is we only had to drive about an hour to get their.

Supposed to be in the 70's and partly sunny all week.

I forget how much I love September. Even some of the Sumac along the roads is starting to turn that deep red fall color. Nice!
