I need to have our home office and two large bathrooms painted.

Anyone care to rec a painting person/company?

I'm also going to google my little heart out and ask around but I know it wouldn't hurt to throw it out here too in case someone knows of a gem.

TIA!

I know of an outstanding house painter, but they are not cheap. They do things right - no shortcuts. They do not overcharge, but doing things the right way is not always the cheapest way. The company is called New Hue painting. The principal is Sean Autrey. They are based near Ann Arbor, but they go all over S.E. Michigan. I do not think that i am allowed to post phone numbers here, send me a direct message and I will send you back their phone number (if I can find it).

Cristy's Painting in Grosse Ile is also very good. I think that she mostly works in the downriver area though. If you want her number, I will have to look it up inthe phone book.

Thanks for the replies! Dh has been super swamped at work and would rather spend his little free time with us rather than painting and I don't do ladders, lol (very afraid of heights)

Cold, I'll pm you now. I *totally* think you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to things around the house.

merit1sje, I'll drop you a line later today.

I painted some of our rooms myself. the difference between my rooms and the professional painting is remarkable. I di dnto think that there woudl be that much difference. I have done a lot of painting. The pros gave me tips. Still, experience obviously counts a lot. It is nto just about the time it takes to do the work.
