This weather sucks. Heat and humidity. I'll take the snow any day.

I'm farther north so it's about 70F-80F here. I think it's about friggin time summer got here, and I am loving it. Lots of things to get done outside. Got wood to cut, got a house to finish painting. There are many places to go if the heat is too much. Enjoy the short season while it's here, because before we know it, it could rain for weeks on end till it starts snowing.

I do love the hot sunny weather! I can't stand the snow so this is the best time of year for me! Unfortunately out here in "farm country" the bugs are really out when it gets hot & humid. I tried to go for a walk and spent the whole time fending off a tornado of biting black flies. I definitely prefer summertime someplace a little less rural. Or barring that, hot weather with a stiff breeze to blow the bugs away.

Sounds like your in FL, I was there 2 weeks ago and the 7 day forecast never had anything below a 94 with the 105-110 heat indexes. I had to re-roof half of my house, I would start at 6am and quit at 11 am, too damn hot to be up there.

After all that this MI heat wave is piece of cake.

That's exactly how I feel living here in the U.P. Once the temps get past 70-75 degrees, the black flies, no-see-ums, and mosquitoes come out in full force and trying to go for a walk in the woods and some beaches is more stressful than peaceful. You always get that one pesky black fly who has to follow you for a mile buzzing around your head. It'll land on your head, you swat (and miss), and repeat that 50 more times. Ugh. Heck, just trying to do some yard work yesterday evening was bad. I would be perfectly happy with temps in the 60s. Warm enough to enjoy and cool enough to keep the bugs away.

I would take this 80 degree wether over the 100's where we use to live. Sure its hot (warm) but its definitly tolerable. But i have to agree...the mosquitos..are what we are having to get use to. My youngest comes in and looks like a polka dot game. lol.

Put some sunblock all over you. I think a good high SPF sunblock seems to repel them better than deepwoods Off and insect sprays.

The humidity is pretty bad. I'm sweating even in A/C.
