I have a bunch of family and in-laws and friends and neighbors coming over tomorrow for a big "open house" (many of them haven't seen our new place yet) so today I'm stressing out to an unhealthy degree . . . been shopping about 7 times this week so far to get food, tidying up (real cleaning happens tomorrow), working on the yard. My husband is "sick" so instead of helping, he's playing video games in the basement.

I need a beer.

You should feel happy to have such a smart husband. YOu are a lucky gal.

You will see the illness progress to I have to stay in bed, just as the guests arrive. It will get a lot better just after they leave. Then you can all go fishing.

Haha, he wised up and is helping me clean today so I don't have a total meltdown in front of his parents this afternoon. If he's REALLY smart, he'll slip some Xanax in my coffee and everything will be oooooohhhhhh-kay.

Me too! The weather was absolutely amazing.

I was thinking of going somewhere this weekend but "settled" for some kayaking on Lake Charlevoix/Round Lake/Lake Michigan on Saturday, a long motorbike ride to Frankfort and then north towards the Leelanau, back through Traverse and back home through Antrim county on Sunday. Today peddling around Harbor Springs enjoying the nice boats and of course swimming and more swimming. I doubt there is a better place for water sports anywhere in the US. I really want a sailboat again. I never get bored here in summer.
