The Womens Hockey Team has a good shot at the gold! WOOO HOOO

Sort of disappointing that there are no Michiganders on that team. 6 out of 26 men on the mens team are from Michigan. What does that say about womens hockey in Michigan? Do Michiganders not take their little girls out to play hockey? Watch hockey with them at home?

Well we have the Red Wings Brian Rafalski (downriver area) on the men's team , and if you've ever watched The Apprentice a couple of seasons ago you would have seen Team USA's Angela Ruggiero born in California but moved to Michigan when she was very young . I believe her family may still live here (Harper Woods ) and Angela is in Michigan so often , she has Michigan license plates on her car . Even though Donald Trump had to fire her on the show , Trump did hire the Harvard grad afterwards for himself . GO Angela GO USA ! This will likely be her last Olympics for the 30 year old , she already has Olympic hockey Gold , Silver , and Bronze . Her brother played one season with the now defunct MotorCity Mechanics/ United Hockey League

Good link, great read, she's definately impressive. Saw no mention of Michigan though. Looks like she went to a private high school in Conn - so between CA, Conn, MI?, MA - she's an All American Girl! Go Team!
