My husband leaves Sheppard next month, and goes to Dover AFB. Dover is his first duty station, but has 30 days of training when he gets there. Will the Air Force move his family right away? Or make us wait until those 30 days of training are over? And if they don't move me, will they allow him to stay with us at Thanksgiving in the on base hotel, or only on the weekend?

The AF should move his family to his first duty station which would be Dover AFB. Training time at his first base shouldn't inflict on that.
