Things can be so very simple...........yesterday a friend stopped by and they had a friend with them who served 37 months in Iraq.....I gave the guy a pat on the back and simply said "thank you" and do you know he cried????? I cannot even imagine his baggage he carries with him on his shoulders.

The pictures you see are from the Mohican State Park in Ohio at the 2009 Native American Pow Wow. The Honor Guards are the "Iroquoi Nation Honor Guards" men that served WWII, Korea and Vietnam.

When traveling through airports, if opportunity arises when seeing a guy/gal in uniform, for example in line behind me, will pay for their meal, drink, whatever. Least can do... spend 5 or 10 bucks here and there for what these gentlemen and ladies do for us.
