If this is out there on the 'net, it's well hidden. Anyone?

PS don't say this, which many sites tout - in fact I emailed them asking this question and the email was rejected as "user not known" Way to keep the site updated guys.

You are talking about your "1405 date". It is what factors in your 60/75/90 days of guard or reserve duty for your active duty retirement.

I think my answer is "no," but to be honest I have no idea what you're even talking about.

I am talking about someone like me who has done time as both active duty, Guard, and/or Reservist and where/how the heck can you calculate what your retirement pay will be (ie something like total points times # of years and rank, etc).

Every day that you have spent on active duty you count as a point. For example if you spend 9 years and two days on active duty, then you would have 3287 points. Do the same for the guard, since the guard is full-time you would treat it as active duty. As for the reserves, you do the same thing, every drill weekend is worth 4 points I believe.

And finally, you can use this link to give you an idea of how much you will get, when you turn 60. https://www.hrc.army.mil/site/Reserv...rementcalc.asp

since the guard is full-time? yes, there are "some' full-timers, but most are traditional (i.e. drill status guardsman, or weekend warriors) guardsman.

all I can say is that after 6 years and some months of active duty, and 18 years as a drilling reservist, plus 10 years in the "retired reserve", my retirement pay is under $700 per month.
I retired as an E-6, having been PNAed for E-7.
