I don't know much about the military but I am interested in working a job that pays a decent salary with good benefits. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; emphasis Computer Information Systems and I speak Urdu and Hindi. I graduated back in 2003 from a state university.

What are my options?

I would talk with recruiters for all the services and see what they can offer you and what you might be interested in. Recruiters have more applicants then they can take so I doubt they will hound you; probably just the opposite.

Starting out to make decent money you would have to enlist as an officer.

Hopefully you realize that initital military training is pretty hard core and not like anything on the civilian side, it is both physically and mentally demanding.

I don't want to be in combat. I want a safe job.

You are too old for the Air Force, to enlist. You meet the age requirements to be an officer, but your language skills should really help! I am pretty sure that we have stopped taking officers for the moment, but it could open back up at any minute... and again, those language skills might be an "in" for you to get around moratoriums.

A big part of it depends on your grades. But the languages could even mitigate less than stellar grades.

Getting in as an officer, in the USAF, is EXTREMELY hard... you're gonna have to be top notch?

Are you a citizen? I'm asking cuz of your language skills. You do have to be a citizen to come in as an officer... not for enlistment though.

Talk to an officer recruiter.... that's all I know!

If you can't run with the big dogs I'd recommend staying on the porch...

Officers don't enlist. They're commissioned. Sorry....just a pet peeve.
