All - I live in NYC and I'm visiting some friends in the area. We are all beer geeks and I want to bring some stuff from NYC...

we seem to get a good selection of the Northeast microw brews here.. but I wanted to bring something that was fairly difficult to find in the milwaukee area.

Obviously from what I understand, MI is ana wesome city for beer. But of the top of your heads... are there specfic brews you love that can't get in wisconsin?

More or less looking for general ideas. So ales, belgians, stouts,..they will all do. tks.

Polish beers but you can find those pretty easy in NYC especially in Greenpoint. So I would suggest the Milwaukee micro brews such as

Lakefront Brewery - Lakefront Brewery Home Page

Great Lakes Distillery

- MILWAUKEE BREWING COMPANY -

Sprecher Brewing Company

Horny Goat Beer | microbrew craft beer funny beer t-shirt hats apparel Hideaway and more

Milwaukee: Water Steet Brewery

Stonefly Brewing Co. - Brews (http://www.stoneflybrewery.com/brews.html - broken link)

The Beers of Rock Bottom | Rock Bottom a franchise but make a Milwaukee line of beers only made here

Milwaukee Ale House

Delafield Brewhaus - Restaurant, Beer, Food, Pizza, Weddings, Microbrewery, Delafield, Waukesha

Welcome to Silver Creek Brewing Company

The Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. Welcomes You! not from Milwaukee but made here now.

Milwaukee Beer Museum Home

I even like Old Milwaukee, Blatz, Schlitz and Pabst.
