They sure as hell ARE leaving if the taxpayers don't pony up for a new arena; and frankly I see the Packers moving to Milwaukee before that happens. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make about the Bucks lone championship that's over four decades old at this point, but the team has been near the bottom of the NBA in attendance for 11 years now because most of their fans bailed on them after the Ray Allen trade (and rightfully so).

The only way I even see a new arena being built is if the Bucks leave and the NHL puts a team in the Bradley Center in exchange for the promise of a new arena.

Attanasio just committed to help with the arena. He might be involved in buying the team, but he won't talk about that right now.

The arena will be built with private funds and the land and infrastructure will be done with public. For that amount the city could just issue bonds.

The Bucks will get a new arena built. There's enough private commitment (Kohl, Attanasio, etc) and public momentum that it will likely happen. The NHL isn't expanding, and a new hockey team isn't coming. The hockey fans need to give it a rest.

I hope they do eventually have an NHL team, but in the meantime, the Ads are less pricey and more accessible. It'd be fun to have a fresh, new NHL team, but I'd probably still be a Canadiens fan.

I'm not so much a Packers fan, but I do enjoy the Brewers.. I'm from Detroit area, so the Tigers and Lions are my #1. Can't really get behind the Pistons, though, so I guess I can at least root for the Bucks
