I'm reading stories about it taking an hour to walk 2 blocks because of the crowds, some kid got shot in the foot, etc etc. Sounds like a chaotic lawless mess. Since when did River Splash turn into New Orleans during Mardi Gras?? Are kids in the city really so bored and unimaginative that the only thing they can come up with to entertain themselves is to go downtown and create a scary violent scene at an otherwise peaceful event?

What the hell is going on here?

I haven't heard about someone getting shot, usually Riversplash is harmless, just a bunch of people walking around, drinking & having fun. Typical festival

Riversplash is a great festival, This was just some freak thing. What happend was Everyone was drunk and rowdy, the kid who got shot was in an arguement with the guy who shot him. Sunday was fine down at Riversplash. I would not avoid it because of 1 incident.
