I'm going to be in town for a concert (James) the night before and then staying at the Hilton on Wisconsin Ave. My friend and I are looking for something to do in the city on Saturday. As a music fan, are there any great record stores or something of the like?

Anyone know of a great thrift store for clothes?

Maybe a great place for breakfast?

I rarely spend time in your city and am flexible on what the activity is. Thanks!

I don't know what's going on but I suggest reading the Shepherd...Welcome To Express Milwaukee
It'll tell you what's going on, just check it out around the time you'll be here. Let's see, for clothes I would suggest Yellow Jacket on Brady St. if that's where you'll be, there's also a couple other places on Brady like Dragonfly (which is an excellent store) & Vieux et Nouveau. Breakfast....I guess I would suggest Trocadero or Ma Fischers. It depends, Trocadero is more classy but you can still go there totally hung over in jeans & Ma Fischers is more of a diner, actually I guess it is a diner, & you get huge portions. Have fun!
