Recently we were on a job site and it is understood that dealin with some things you are exposed to esbestos. But my current employeer had us gutting a two unit office space with walls about 15 feet tall by 30 feet. We demoed most of this place until I seen the boss and lead looking over the bags we were ripping out of the walls. I read insulex esbestos producst. The rooms were filled with white dust to the point where we couldnt see the person next to us bairly and we have been exposed to going on 20 hours of straight inhulation of this materials. Is he at any legal fault and what can I do about this. I called and told him i'm leaving the site and called the health department because he was making two other guys stay and finish the work that we didnt want to be exposed to any more. He did not supply us with resperators or any suits for that much material. How harmful is being exposed to rooms filled with broken esbestos and that much dust in the air with 20 total hours of exposure.

Definitely get a lawyer and see a doctor right away so it can be documented. Did you call OSHA? Not to scare you but you might not have problems right away but could down the road and your employer needs to be held responsible for any health problems you might develop.
