I was wondering if someone could point me to a good resource for
finding home foreclosures in the St Paul / Eagan / Bloomington areas.
I am coming to town on an interview and will probably rent a condo but
I wanted to see if there were any foreclosure deals to be had.

Are there still some foreclosed deals to be had? Is there a good (free)
website to use or am I best off asking a Realtor about foreclosures?

Thanks
Tom

I like the website below, because you can search by the neighborhood in St. Paul and also specifically only for foreclosures if that is what you are interested in:

TheMLSonline.com - Minnesota Real Estate, Top Minnesota Real Estate Search - Call 763-576-8286

I hope this helps and happy house hunting.

No disrespect but TheMLSOnline is a Realtor website. So you are being solicited.

There are a number of websites out there, free and pay. Some good and some bad. The thing to understand is that some banks do not allow their agents to show the houses as foreclosures. Those will not show on these sites.

Your best bet is hooking up with an agent that specializes in this area. For what it is worth that is all we do. Distressed Properties and working with the banks exclusively for the past 8 years has given our clients a huge edge.

Yes, there are a number of foreclosures in the areas mentioned. Condos, townhouses and single family. And priced from under 50k to over a million.

Good luck.

HomePath.com is the Fannie Mae site for foreclosures.
