^It's slowly happening....the winter temps have risen 2 to 3 degrees from 1970-2000 to 1980-2010. Paul Douglas predicts this will continue and winter will be more "moderate" (like Chicago, Detroit or Boston) and summers will be roughly the same (maybe slightly warmer) but wetter.

The following would make the Twin Cities better:

- Less Congestion and Traffic
- More unique and interesting suburbs
- Not such cold weather
- More people in the core cities
- More hils, valleys and bluffs

just part of my opinion..

Move the city 1000 miles south and it would be great. Add mountains nearby as well and it would be perfect. But those are things that you can't change... That's probably why I left.

How about tearing out all the business and housing infrastructure and replacing it with gigantic glass skyscrapers? That works so well everywhere else...

Oh, wait, we already did that. Way to go St Paul!

Let the price of gas climb to where it should be -- $5 a gallon or higher -- and people will flock closer to places they frequent, most of which is within a 5-10 mile radius of say the MSP airport.
