Lost Twin Cities II is being shown tonight on Channel 2.

For anyone who haven't seen this show it offers a glimpse of many of the iconic Twin Cities institutions lost to progress and development between the end of WWII and 1965. Not seen on TV as often as Lost Twin Cities, LTC #2 has segments on The Prom Ballroom, Axel and his Dog, Porky's Drive-in, the birth of NWA and the "Strato-liner" and maybe most interesting of all, St Paul's, Swede Hollow.

I missed it, I will have to see if I can catch it later. I'd like to see more stations swapping of local documentaries. I watched one about Milwaukee, and it was really interesting. But that might cut into the airing of motivational speakers and elevator music programs.

I've seen the special about Swede Hollow before. Pretty crazy. No heat in the winters! VERY INTERESTING.

THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW

I may or may not have possibly explored the tunnel built to carry Phalen Creek (shown in the photo). Hypothetically, of course. XP

Nah, just kidding.

err, Wednesday night at 8 pm, yeah that's the ticket. They couldn't show it tonight because, because the film got wet and they had to dry it, yeah that's it.
