Not you. But you also see the world through Denver, and it's clear nobody is ever going to change your mind about that. If you hate it here so much (even though you know nothing about the area), please don't come.

No, I wasn't calling you out. Just posters here in general. People already have a perception of MN having a super cold winter, which it does. So I don't like when people further try to scare people away by complaining about the heat and the bugs, which are, to me, very minor problems that don't really deserve mentioning. Especially if they end up scaring people away from ever considering a move to MN.
What's not to believe -- these are statistics and are official?

I don't hate it there.I just don't really hear that good about MN.I do love Stillwater alot.I haven't been any place around to even try to enjoy it.I have only gone there to look at home and still to no avail.

Well if you don't really know a place, get to know it before telling everyone how much you think you don't like it. I can do the same with Denver but since I haven't lived there or visited for more than a week, I just assume the 2.5 million people who DO live there live there for a good reason -- maybe I'd like it more if I learned why.

Actually, Minneapolis isn't that hot compared to Denver In the middle of summer. I spent a whole July there Last year, And Denver happen to stick out as the hotter of the two. Sure the humidity (Which isn't that bad) effects the heat, but really, so does the dry colorado air, so they are pretty neck n neck for summer.
As for Winter, Minneapolis isn't to much worst (IMO)......Cold is Cold...theres no getting use to it either way (unless you like the cold).

Bluydgrl. Why are you here exactly? If you need reasons to help you make the big move, then surely other posters here pretty much covered them all by now. However, If you're looking for a confirmation that Minneapolis is not as good of a city, then I doubt you'll fine it here.

I guess it largely depends on what you consider to be "artsy fartsy". In my personal experience working as creative director at a major ad agency, Minneapolis does have comparable, if not bigger, fine arts scene and much larger, more robust creative and theater/performing industries by a stretch.
