I am moving from the Detroit are to the St. Paul area in May. I have Sisterlocks and have had them for over 2 years now. I really don't want to cut them and would like to know if there is any shop or people that do Sisterlocks or some kind of locking of the hair so that I can maintain getting my hair done without having to travel 5 hours out-of-state to do so.
Anyones help is appreciated

I have a friend who moved back to the Twin Cities from Memphis last year... she's in the same predicament as you, got her Sisterlocs done in Memphis a few years back, wants to keep 'em, but can't find anyone local to maintain 'em. I last saw her a couple of weeks ago in church, and she still had her Sisterlocs - yeah!
Are your locs thin? My friend went to a place on Lake Street in Uptown which supposedly specializes in locs, but the "loctitian" wanted to combine her sistalocs, claiming they were too thin and needed to be combined. The loctitian knew NOTHING about Sisterlocs... so my friend left w/o getting her locs maintained. So sad.
Ummm.... my daughter, who is now thirteen, has had "
Bradelocz " for going on two years. I started her locz with braids, and maintain them with a latch hook. Instructions for doing this are in the ebook sold by Cherie King...

I am moving from the Detroit are to the St. Paul area in May. I have Sisterlocks and have had them for over 2 years now. I really don't want to cut them and would like to know if there is any shop or people that do Sisterlocks or some kind of locking of the hair so that I can maintain getting my hair done without having to travel 5 hours out-of-state to do so.
