Are you sure you sure your grandma doesn't live in Los Angeles, what with all those "gang problems" she experienced?

Minnesota in general has high Meth ratings for drugs unfortunately. Minnesota also has high statistics for domestic abuse issues, not surprised since statistically also ranks #1 states for binge drinking and #3 for DUIs/DWIs. Women arent' treated as equally too, like it's behind the times for some reason. Also high AIDS/HIV ratings too. Alot of young parents as teens or out of wedlock who abuse drugs and are alcoholics. I would recoomend Chicago for a midwestern city instead. My personal experience of living there for 9 yrs and having alot of communication with a variety of people there. Oh and my grandma in law had gang graffitti done all over her garage, so drugs gangs there are prevalent.

I don't even know where to start with this post. How about this, can you cite any statistics/studies that support any of the statements you're making?

This isnt a surprise. Minneapolis is great for families. It has incredible suburbs, healthy and clean enviroment, lots of things to do, very fit and healthy, and has decent transportation.
