My favorite slang term - in movie theaters - "wha'd she say?"

I waitressed in Texas for a few months....the pop/soda/coke thing caused a few issues. I made it simple and started calling everything a drink... let the customer tell me exactly what they want. I was really confused when someone asked me what kind of coke we had. I got used to it.

Is "You got that right" Minnesota slang? I'm from here so I don't know, but a friend from the east coast (and born on the west) said he never heard it said like the way we say it.

I believe "soda pop" and "soft drink" were the most common "other" responses from MN.

I've heard several people here say "Do you want to come with?". This may not be a Minnesota thing but my friend who lives down south but originally hails from Minnesota says that & I've heard people say that since we moved here.

Up North is also something that I didn't hear until I moved to this state.

I think the word is "spendy"? Before I moved to Minnesota I don't think I ever heard that word used...I'd heard people say "pricey" but in Minnesota I've heard "spendy" more often, as in "oh I would have bought the dress at Macy's but it was so spendy". Now I like to use it when I want to sound Minnesotan.
