So I'm going to visit a friend who 'finally got an apartment' at a place called Nicollet Towers. Did some searching, because he's been having a rough go finding an affordable place. Saw some photos and the building looks quite nice, but it appears to be run by 'Volunteers of America' and the building has no real website. I'm just curious if this will be a safe place for him...I know a little about Minneapolis and was very impressed with downtown, and hopefully this will pique his interest in the community college across the park. I'm going to make a trip out there at the end of the month, check it out and help him get settled.

I had a friend who lived in the 110 grant apartments and my boyfriend at the time lived on oak grove nearby.... that is a nice spot. I would not worry too much. But I can't speak specifically about that building. Good Luck!
