Yeah, what's up with that? Why doesn't Mystic have ALL table games (Pai Gaw, Roulette, Crapps, etc.)? Those games are generally even MORE lucrative than Blackjack (widely considered the closest thing you'll ever get to a 50%-50% chance of winning at a casino).

I guess to each their own, but like a ballgame, I can't imagine going to a casino and not having a beer at least. I wonder how much business that policy actually costs them? Probably not too much due to the lack of competition in the area......but I would imagine there has to be a faction within lobbying for the booze to start flowing. After all, it would mean increased revenue, yes?
Well -- somebody please correct me if I'm mistaken -- but I BELIEVE many Native American tribal casinos don't allow alcohol because alcohol was a MAJOR factor in Native Americans losing land to bad deals with white frontiermen. The non-natives would offer the Native Americans alcohol and not only tricked them into signing bad deals, but also caused widespread drug and alcohol use amongst the tribes. So I could see why tribes today might be touchy about allowing alcohol in their establishments.

This is only what I heard or read, by the way. I am nothing even close to a historian!
